Since 2005, we have executed 12 major property transactions across four Australian cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Adelaide), investing both retail and institutional capital into a suite of direct office property funds and indirect wholesale funds (hospitality, industrial and retail), for a combined A$2.0 billion.
For our direct fund investments, we are interested in well-established and cash-flow stabilised buildings that have a strong tenant profile with balanced lease terms. We also favour buildings that display strong sustainability features which have the dual benefit of being attractive to both government and blue chip tenants.
Real I.S Australia was an 'early mover' in real estate investment for German funds under the Managed Investment Trust ('MIT') legislation, which means we have experienced the full lifecycle investment in direct real estate and wholesale funds. Over time, we have become a strong and trusted counterparty in the Australian market with extensive internal networks and access to significant off market deal flow.
